Prayers and Praises:
- Karen – Praise that her granddaughter Lyla is now able to walk without a crutch. She has had some issues with her kneecap.
- Jill – Shawn is at Mayo Clinic. Doctors have found two spots on his liver. Pray for his treatment to be successful.
- Deb – Praise Jesus for a wonderful family weekend with her son and grandson. Nick is struggling with the loss of many friends from
his unit in the military, some to suicide. Pray for Nick to find peace in Jesus. Grant asked that we pray for Deb also, for strength and
peace and her relationship with Nick. - Leonard – Daughter Debbie had a growth, but praise God, it is now shrinking. Debbie was recently found to be cancer free.
- Ron – Ron was scheduled for cataract surgery. At his exam, the doctor told him that his eyes are fine, no need for surgery. Praise
Jesus!
Via Prayer Chain - Carol – Asking for prayers for Kris (adult daughter of my friend Sharon). She is having heart valve replacement at Mayo on 10/23. Her
situation is complicated. Pray for successful outcome and for peace for her family. Thank you so much, prayer warriors. UPDATE – Kris was in surgery for over 10 hours. Doctor is pleased with her progress so far. She is in ICU. Prayers now for successful, complete recovery. The family thanks you for your prayers. - Jan – Prayers for Eric Comer, the girls and their families as they mourn the loss of Peanut after a 4 year battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
- Jill – Praises for Michelle Hempel’s recovery from double pneumonia.
Also, Please pray for Jill’s friend Deb who has been fighting cancer for 15 years. She has just been diagnosed with pneumonia and
then had a stroke affecting her left side.
