Church News: Week of April 8, 2026

Apr 9, 2026 | Church News

MEMORY VERSE: James 1:2-4 “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing.”

Midweek Message 4/8/26 – “Christian Contentment” – Unfortunately, we had a technical issue & the message did not record. Our apologies. We hope to have it resolved by next week.

God wired us to go through seasons. Regardless of the season we are in, we can find contentment. If we are content in our soul, we need less to feel blessed. But, we cannot be content in pursuit of our level of holiness. Biblical contentment – that state of deep satisfaction and peace that arises from trusting in God, regardless of external circumstances – is found in our relationship with Jesus. Is Jesus enough? Jesus is always enough.
Pastor’s handout included readings from – 1 Timothy 6:6-10; Hebrews 13:5; Philippians 3:12-14; James 1:2-4; Philippians 4:10-14; Isaiah 43:1-2.

We invite you to join us each Wednesday at 11:30 AM for Midweek@Minnewashta Chapel Service A PLACE TO BELONG – Favorite hymns are sung, Prayers & Praises for the people are shared, and Pastor Grant Hill delivers a short message. Communion is served the first Wednesday of each month.

Next Meal & Movie – The Last Supper – A biblical drama depicting the days leading to Jesus’ final meal with His disciples, explored through themes of trust, loyalty, and hidden motives. With a focus on intimate character moments and spiritual reflection, it offers a reverent portrayal of divine love and sacrifice. This will be shown in two parts on April 15 & 22.

As we are transitioning out of the building to turn the space over to Branch Church, the landline phone has been disconnected, and we are working remotely. If you have an emergency, please contact Pastor Grant Hill directly.
