Memory Verse – Isaiah 43:19 –  “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Pastor Grant gave a brief message about what Minnewashta has meant to the community, saying “God has established His kingdom here”. He asked us to “be a blessing to what God is doing through Branch Church.” Clearly, God is using both of our congregations to make Him known & bringing more generations to Jesus, well into the future.

We invite you to join us each Wednesday at 11:30 AM for Midweek@Minnewashta Chapel Service A PLACE TO BELONG – Favorite hymns are sung, Prayers & Praises for the people are shared, and Pastor Grant Hill delivers a short message. Communion is served the first Wednesday of each month. NOTE: due to the Legacy Service on December 3, communion will be postponed until Dec 10. Lunch & Movie follows in the Fellowship Hall.

MEAL & MOVIE: Dec 10The Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian – PT2 One year after their incredible adventures in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Peter, Edmund, Lucy and Susan Pevensie return to Narnia to aid a young prince whose life has been threatened by the evil King Miraz. Now, with the help of a colorful cast of new characters, including Trufflehunter the badger and Nikabrik the dwarf, the Pevensie clan embarks on an incredible quest to ensure that Narnia is returned to its rightful heir.

December – Salvation Army – Doing the Most Good since 1865

The Salvation Army meets human need wherever, whenever, and however we can. For over 100 years The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Centers have provided spiritual, social, and emotional assistance for men and women who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. Centers offers residential housing, work, and group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment. The physical and spiritual care that program participants receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment. Many of those who have been rehabilitated are reunited with their families and resume a normal life.

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

BENEVOLENCE FUND – The benevolence fund is used to aid families with unexpected or high medical expenses, victims of natural disasters. The unemployed, the under employed and in other similar circumstances.
MINNEWASHTA OFFERINGS – The Offering Boxes are mounted on the wall outside of the church office and the envelopes are located on the table beneath the two boxes. Alternatively, you can mail your offerings and tithes to the church: 26710 West 62nd St., Shorewood, MN 55331, Attn: Financial Secretary.
