Memory Verse – Matthew 11:29 – “Come to me… for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Midweek Message – 2.11.26 – “Walk Humbly With Your God”
Continuing from last week, when Pastor Grant Hill began with Micah 6:8, by asking, What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, & to love mercy. (if you wish to go back & review, here is the link from last week – https://youtu.be/veYymuqEe_k
Finishing up today with what it means to “Walk Humbly With God”.
Most people don’t reject God, but they don’t walk in humility with God. It is possible to be right with God, but not have a relationship with Him. Even belonging to a church doesn’t mean you have a relationship with God. Humility is the oxygen for the christian. Humility is seeing God for who he is AND excepting that we are dependent on God. Trust God to lead the pace of your life, for when we humble ourselves to walk with Him, our lives are blessed.
Read Amos 3:3; Hebrews 6:4-6; 2 Corinthians 12:10; James 4:6; Psalm 25:9; Matthew 11:29
We pray that God touches your heart as you watch the video.
We invite you to join us each Wednesday at 11:30 AM for Midweek@Minnewashta Chapel Service – A PLACE TO BELONG – Favorite hymns are sung, Prayers & Praises for the people are shared, and Pastor Grant Hill delivers a short message. Communion is served the first Wednesday of each month.
ASH WEDNESDAY Service on Feb 18.
Next Meal & Movie on Feb 18 & 25 – Brother White – James White is one of a dozen pastors at a mega church in Southern California, under the tutelage of TV evangelist Johnny Kingman. He always longed to have his own church and jumps at the opportunity to become pastor of the impoverished Divine Faith Apostolic Church in Atlanta. His wife and two children aren’t very enthusiastic about his assignment. Neither is the congregation itself, but they will have to learn to trust each other and pull together to save the church from a corrupt banker anxious to foreclose. It will take a musical miracle, supplied by BeBe Winans, to save them all.
As we are transitioning out of the building to turn the space over to Branch Church, the landline phone has been disconnected, and we are working remotely.
If you have an emergency, please contact Pastor Grant Hill directly.
