Memory Verse – Hebrews 10:10 – “And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
Memorial Service for Dave Hempel will be on Saturday, September 27 at 11:00 AM. Visitation at 10 AM – Lunch follows in the Fellowship Hall
September 10 –  WEDNESDAY MIDWEEK SERVICE  – “The Veil” –  Pastor explains the Day of Atonement & the significance of the veil being torn. It is the New Covenant & our sins are forgiven. There is no more separation between us and God, who wants to walk with us.

Matthew 27:45-46, 50-54 From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land.  About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split  and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people. When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

Leviticus 16:12-13 He is to take a censer full of burning coals from the altar before the Lord and two handfuls of finely ground fragrant incense and take them behind the curtain. He is to put the incense on the fire before the Lord, and the smoke of the incense will conceal the atonement cover above the tablets of the covenant law, so that he will not die.

Jeremiah 31:31
“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.

Heb. 9:16-17 In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living.

Heb. 7:27-28 “He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself….the Son, who has been made perfect forever.”

Heb. 10:10 “And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

Heb. 10:14 “For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.”

Acts 20:28. Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.

John 15:13 “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”.

Rom. 8:31-32 “If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”

1 John 4:4  You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Heb. 4:16 Let us then come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
