Prayers and Praises –
• Sandra asks for prayers for safety as her family travels to Mexico for Spring Break. Also, praise that the doctor agreed to just use a removable splint wrap, rather than cast her broken wrist. We are grateful, also that she has been able to play for the service. Thank you, Lord.
• Ron’s niece, Pam, & her family were visiting from Indiana when she suffered a stroke. They also found a clot in her ankle & a previously undetected hole in her heart. The doctors have agreed that she can travel home by train, so she can undergo surgery there. Prayers for safe travel & healing.
• Laurie shared that they finally sold their home & gave testimony that spared Kim from a serious accident with a tanker truck. When Kim saw the truck & knew he was going to be hit, he said “Jesus please save me!” He suffered a broken back & the truck driver was unhurt. It is a miracle that he wasn’t killed.
• Sally Hill sent a note of thanks for the plant from the church for Wayne’s service. She also thanks us for loving her son.
• Carol gave testimony today that God has blessed her & Harvey so many times, again and yet again God has answered prayer. With Harvey in Waconia Hospital, they wanted him to go to transitional rehab to get stronger to go home. Knowing that especially Harvey would not want to agree to go, Carol prayed “God, please open the door for him to go to Flagstone. If there is a room there for him, we know that you will make it happen.” There was very little chance of getting him in there. They have placed only 1 other person there. Not only was there an opening for Thursday, they said they remembered Harvey & they would be happy to have him there. God is so good to us. We are still planning for his 90th birthday party.
