Each Sunday morning, the Prayer team invites those who wish to pray before the service to come to the library at 10:30 AM to have a quiet time of praying and preparing your hearts to worship the Lord.

VACATION – Pastor Grant & Debra will be on vacation April 17 – 24. Pastor Ron Elliott has graciously agreed to provice the Message on Sunday, April 21.

MEAL and MOVIE WEDNESDAY at Noon (April 17) -“The Jesus Revolution”; In the 1970’s, young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney) is searching for all the right things in all the wrong places until he meets Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie), a charismatic hippie-street-preacher. Together with Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer), they open the doors of Smith’s languishing church to an unexpected revival of radical and newfound love, leading to what TIME Magazine dubbed a JESUS REVOLUTION.

MISSION OF THE MONTH for April – Meals on Wheels – South Shore/Excelsior
Operating out of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, the South Shore chapter of Meals-on-Wheels, was reestablished in 2010 to provide fresh, nutritious noontime meals, delivered directly to the homes of seniors and individuals with disabilities in the Excelsior and Western Minnetonka area. In addition to regularly providing healthy foods, caring volunteers provide the social connection that helps meal recipients remain living independently in their own homes. BENEVOLENCE FUND – The benevolence fund is used to aid families with unexpected or high medical expenses, victims of natural disasters. The unemployed, the under employed and in other similar circumstances.

Life Line Screening will be at Minnewashta Church on Friday, April 26, offering safe, painless, non-invasive preventive health screenings that are typically not a part of a routine physical.
