Memory Verse –  Matthew 16:24-25  “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”

“The Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before Him” – Habakkuk 2:20
Each Sunday morning, the Prayer team invites those who wish to pray before the service to come to the library at 10:30 AM to have a quiet time of praying and preparing your hearts to worship the Lord.

Mark your calendars for Holy Week:
  • Maundy Thursday Service – 3.28.24 at 7:00 PM
  • Resurrection Sunday – 3.31.24
(Live worship and a combined choir will be singing at all 3 Easter services)
    8:00 AM – Minnewashta Church
9:30 AM and 11:00 AM Branch Church

MEAL and MOVIE WEDNESDAY at Noon – “His Only Son”, Part I: His Only Son recounts one of the most controversial moments in the Old Testament – when Abraham was commanded by God to sacrifice his son Isaac on the mountain of Moriah. While traveling with Isaac and two servants, Abraham is flooded with vivid memories from the years he and Sarah spent longing for the son they were promised-the son he must now
lay upon the altar.

CHOIR – RESURECTION SUNDAY – If you are interested in singing with the Branch Choir, practice is Thursday, March 28 from 6:00-7:00 PM. The choir will be singing at all 3 of the services, but you are not required to participate in all 3. Contact Jim Larson at Larson.jb@gmail.com to receive email updates/information/music access.

MISSION OF THE MONTH for March – Bountiful Basket Food Shelf –
For many, help is needed in the form of food assistance to get them through their time of need. In a typical 12-month period the Bountiful Basket distributes over 300,000 lbs. of food. All of the 15,000 individuals served are neighbors and fellow community members who live in Eastern Carver County. https://bountifulbasketfoodshelf.org/ We are joining in the MN FoodShare March Campaign.
Thank you kindly in advance for your generosity!
BENEVOLENCE FUND – The benevolence fund is used to aid families with unexpected or high medical expenses, victims of natural disasters. The unemployed, the under employed and in other similar circumstances.
